David Vidales on pole for Race 1

After the pole won by Grégoire Saucy (ART Grand Prix) earlier in the morning for Race 2, the Spaniard David Vidales (Prema) dominated the second and final qualifying session of the day in 1'37"860 , obtaining pole position for Race 1, which will take place this Saturday at 17:20 p.m.

This is the second leading position won by the Spaniard in his career, after that gleaned... at Imola, already in 2020, during his debut in car in Formula Renault Eurocup with JD Motorsport. The Iberian beat his teammate Paul Aron (Prema/+0”044) and the Briton Alex Quinn (Arden/+0”052), who took third place on the gong to Hadrien David (R-ace GP), best Frenchman of the session (4th/+0”098).

Author of the pole for Race 2, Grégoire Saucy (ART Grand Prix) was only able to set the 5th time, after being hampered in his last lap by Pietro Delli Guanti while he was improving. Like this Saturday morning, the three best rookies are ranked in the same order, but this time they all scraped a place: Dino Beganovic (Prema/6th), Isack Hadjar (R-ace GP/7th) and Gabriele Mini (ART Grand Prix /8th).
