Feed Racing postpones its finals to spring 2021

After a very successful start in 2019, FEED Racing must adapt to the exceptional circumstances arising from the COVID19 crisis and the uncertainties that remain. In order to perpetuate its talent detection mission and give as many people as possible a chance, all while respecting the protection of drivers and their families, FEED Racing has made the following decisions regarding 2020:

New internship dates

The selections over 5 days of track driving are staggered and grouped together on July 24, 25 and 26 then July 28 and 29 for stage 1, followed by July 31 and August 1, 2 then August 4 and 5 for stage 2. Still on the Magny-Cours Club circuit and in the presence of Jacques Villeneuve and Patrick Lemarié.

New dates for the final stages

As a result of this new schedule, the final phases – quarter-finals, semi-finals and the final – will be organized in spring 2021. Enough to generate a much greater media impact at this time of the year and offer more time to the search for partners with a view to 2022.

Creation of the FEED Racing Team

FEED Racing will found its own F4 team, the FEED Racing Team, managed in collaboration with an experienced structure. In addition to participation in a European F4 championship, this team will be available to drivers who would like to set up a professional testing program for one or more days, all at a controlled cost.

Strengthening the FEED Racing offer

FEED Racing will offer an additional one-day test session in an F4 to all of its 2020 finalists, within its newly created structure. That is, up to 10 days of driving possible: 5 days of training, 1 day of quarter-finals, 1 day of semi-finals, 1 day of training, plus 1 other day offered for the 6 finalists, and finally 1 day for the final.

Development of a FEED Racing community

FEED Racing will set up e-Sport support, following the registration in GTE for the first 24 Hours of Le Mans Virtual. Each driver will be able to benefit from advice, via the birth of the FEED Racing Community. This will provide more visibility and allow training during the winter.
