Testing: Caio Collet breaks the track record at Spielberg

Formula vice-champion Renault Eurocup champion, Caio Collet (MP Motorsport) seems to have acclimated perfectly to the Formula 3. In any case, he has just set the track record in 1'18"592 during the last session of pre-season testing held in Spielberg this Sunday.

The Brazilian was ahead of Dennis Hauger (Prema/+0”119) and the two drivers who competed for the F4 ADAC title last year, the very young Jak Crawford (Hitech Grand Prix/0”183) and Jonny Edgar (Carlin/0 »199).

On the French side, Clément Novalak (Trident) finished 7th, just behind one of the favorites Frédérik Vesti (ART Grand Prix). Pierre-Louis Chovet (Jenzer) took an honorable 14th position, while his compatriot Reshad de Gerus (Charouz) took 25th place. After setting the 4th fastest time of the morning, Victor Martins (MP Motorsport) did not take part in the afternoon session.
