As is often the case in Spain, the times were slower in the afternoon than in the morning, due to the temperature rising on the track throughout the day. So obviously, releasing the Top 10 of the day means referring to the ranking of the morning session. And in this little game, it was Trident who was the fastest.
Australian driver Jack Doohan was indeed the fastest of the day, having already dominated the first morning of testing on Tuesday. He beat his French teammate Clément Novalak by 19 thousandths, who concluded these tests in 2nd place after being the fastest of the two days of testing in Barcelona three weeks ago.
In the Top 10, we find the protégé of Red Bull Jak Crawford (Hitech), 4th and author of a solid performance despite being 15 years old (!). He beat David Beckmann (Charouz, 5th), who has long been on the podium in the FIA F3 last season. At Prema, Arthur Leclerc took 9th place for the day, while Caio Collet (ART Grand Prix), currently 2nd in the Eurocup, finished the day with 7th fastest time.
On the French side, beyond Clément Novalak, Pierre-Louis Chovet (HWA Racelab) finished the day in 12th place, half a second behind the best time, while Reshad De Gerus (Charouz) took 22nd place. Igor Fraga (Hitech) was the fastest in the afternoon session, ahead of Calan Williams (Jenzer) and Caio Collet (ART Grand Prix).
