Testing: Smolyar fastest in the afternoon at Spielberg

Alexander Smolyar (ART Grand Prix) set the best time of the afternoon this Saturday, during the first day of pre-season testing at Spielberg. The Russian was the only driver of the day to go under minute nineteen (1'18"194). He beat British rookie Jonny Edgar (Carlin/+0 »142), vice-champion of German F4, and his teammate Frederik Vesti (ART Grand Prix). 

Best time of the morning, Clément Novalak (Trident) finished first French of the session in 11th place, 0”415 from the reference time. Pierre-Louis Chovet (Jenzer Motorsport) finished with the 21st time of the session, Reshad de Gerus (Charouz) the 24th and Victor Martins (MP Motorsport) the 29th. Note the nice 14th time of Juan Manuel Correa (ART Grand Prix) for his official return to racing after the tragic accident at Spa-Francorchamps on August 31, 2019.
