Leonardo Pulcini dominates Barcelona tests

The competitors of the FIA F3 were gathered over the last two days in Catalonia for pre-season testing before the opening of the championship scheduled for May 10 to 12 on the same Montmelo track near Barcelona.

Driving sessions where rain came, disrupting the sessions, but offering the drivers an insight into the qualities of their chassis on a wet track.

In the game of timing, it's the Italian Leonardo Pulcini (Hitech GP) who was the fastest, both yesterday on a wet track and this Wednesday in faster conditions, despite starting the day on a tarmac that was still wet.

Pulcini dominated the first day in 1'33"007, a time achieved in the morning, before setting the table again today, lowering his benchmark to 1'32"222, a time also set during the morning session.

Next in the cumulative ranking are the two ART Grand Prix drivers Christian Lundgaard and Max Fewtrell, the top 5 being completed by Alex Peroni (Campos Racing) and Jehan Daruvala (Prema Racing).

A new round of running will take place on April 17 and 18 at the Hungaroring in Budapest before the start of the championship in Catalonia.
