  • Starting in pole position after the penalty from Grégoire Saucy (ART Grand Prix), for not having slowed down sufficiently under the yellow flag in qualifying, Pepe Martí (Campos) produced a very clean copy this Saturday in Monaco.
  • Still in the lead after the start, the Spaniard quickly had to start from scratch since the safety car intervened on the first lap following the exit of Jonny Edgar (MP Motorsport) at Sainte Devote. No problem for him who perfectly mastered the restart by keeping Leonardo Fornaroli (Trident) and Grégoire Saucy behind him.
  • If the Monaco route is renowned for its difficulties in overtaking, Pepe Martí has never had to defend his position. His excellent racing pace allowed him to gradually break away from his pursuers, over whom he had a lead of more than 8 seconds when he took the checkerboard.
  • Very close to Leonardo Fornaroli throughout the Sprint Race, Grégoire Saucy ultimately never found an opening on the Italian, contenting himself with 8 points from 3e place. Party 5e, Franco Colapinto (MP Motorsport) managed to grab a position but was not able to catch up with the Swiss to hope to be on the podium. Leader of the championship, Gabriel Bortoleto (Trident) had a fairly calm Sprint reaching the finish in 6e position, the same as at the start.
