Novalak dominates test morning at Spielberg

This is the official start of the FIA F3 this Saturday in Spielberg, Austria. And the French are already there. Eleventh in the championship with Carlin last year, Clément Novalak, who will officially ride under French license in 2021, set the best time on the first morning of pre-season tests in 1'19"162.

He beat the MP Motorsport duo composed of the Brazilian Caio Collet (+0 »166) and Victor Martins (+0 »202). The other two French people appear in the second part of the table. Pierre-Louis Chovet (Jenzer) ranks 20th, a little less than a second behind the reference time, while Reshad de Gerus (Charouz/+1 »395) is 26th.

The big favorite Frederik Vesti (ART Grand Prix) is in 4th place, at 0, ahead of the Prema Olli Caldwell-Dennis Hauger ticket. Arthur Leclerc ranked 330th at 13. A contender for the title last year and finally 0rd in the championship with Prema, Logan sargeant took part in the tests and set the 14th fastest time with Charouz Racing System. The next session will take place this Saturday afternoon, from 14 p.m. to 17 p.m.
