FR 2.0 – The Nürburgring benefited R-Ace GP

R-Ace GP can be satisfied with its two consecutive weekends at the Nürburgring since the team scored four podiums in four races. The French team had achieved a very good result in Formula Renault 2.0 NEC since Pierre Gasly took third place in Race 1 while Nyck de Vries and André Pizzitola were invited to the podium of Race 2. The round of the Eurocup Formula Renault 2.0 contested last weekend was more complicated to manage with the capricious weather but Pierre Gasly still offered once again the last step of the podium on Sunday while his teammates also allowed the French team to be one of the best teams of the weekend by scoring good points including a fourth place for Nyck de Vries in Race 1.

Thibaut de Mérindol, the team manager of R-Ace GP, is satisfied to see his drivers progress in the discipline and is now setting new objectives so that his team can reach the first two teams in the Eurocup Formula Renault 2.0, Josef Kaufmann Racing and Koiranen Motorsport. “Since the start of the season, Pierre, Andréa and Nyck have demonstrated their potential in terms of performance, we are now working on their consistency and reliability. It will then soon be time to be more aggressive with the ambition of reaching the milestone of the first victory. During the NEC meeting last weekend, our three drivers were able to score big points in each of the two races. »
