FR 3.5 – Arden chooses Egor Orudzhev

Aligned in Eurocup Formula Renault 2.0 in 2014 by the French team Tech 1 Racing, the Russian Yegor Orudzhev had concluded his season in eighth place in the championship, signing three podiums, including two on the only weekend at Paul Ricard in the Var. For 2015, the 19-year-old driver will compete in the premier discipline of the World Series by Renault, in FR 3.5, within the Arden Motorsport team.

“I am happy to join Arden, one of the best teams in Formula Renault 3.5, declares the resident of SMP Racing Program. Previously, I had the opportunity to test the car, and during our tests I quickly had good communication with the engineer, with the mechanics and the managers. »

“It’s great to see Egor join the team this year,” continues Garry Horner, Team Principal. We were impressed by its performance during end-of-season testing at Jerez and at Motorland Aragon in Spain. He has the advantage of knowing the World Series by Renault, as well as the circuits, well. »

Last year, the French Pierre Gasly had won the FR 3.5 vice-champion title with Arden Motorsport.
