For his third season in Formula Renault 3.5, the Brazilian Pietro Fantin, 22 years old, will once again defend the colors of the Draco Racing team in the premier discipline of the World Series by Renault. After scoring his first podium in 2014 during the first race at Moscow Raceway in Russia last June, the Curitiba native knows that 2015 will be a pivotal year for him.
“I am very happy to have the opportunity again to be in the World Series by Renault and to represent Draco Racing for a new season, said Fantin on his website. 2014 was a year filled with many challenges, difficulties, but I got a podium. Since the first attempts with Draco, even in 2013, I have had a good relationship with everyone. We all hope to have a successful 2015. That's why we started working hard now to prepare our car in the best way for what will be a crucial year. »
Fantin, who notably signed good end of season testing at Jerez, joins the pilots already formalized for 2015, Nyck de Vries at DAMS, Oliver Rowland at Fortec or Oscar Tunjo at Pons Racing. The 2015 WSR calendar can be viewed here.
