FR 3.5 Series: from one myth to another

Host of the third round of this FR 3.5 Series season, the Spa-Francorchamps circuit will constitute another justice of the peace for the title contenders, a week after they were confronted with the very demanding Monaco circuit. Sam Bird (ISR) will defend his new leadership position, but it will be coveted by Robin Frijns (Fortec Motorsports), who is only 5 points behind, and Nick Yelloly (Comtec Racing), 14 lengths behind.

Bird, who celebrated his first success in the discipline last Sunday, also owes his place to the fact of having finished all the races in the points. But with three different winners in three races, seven men having reached the podium and already twenty drivers out of twenty-six having scored points, the fight for the title promises to be particularly intense. Note that the Belgian track often favors experienced drivers, because no driver has ever won here in their first year in the discipline, since Borja Garcia in 2006.

Finally, between two exhibitions on an old Red Bull F1, Daniel Ricciardo will have plenty of time to observe his former playmates.
