Hadrien David spent a weekend in the Antipodes in Belgium. After Friday's goalless score, having started last following an engine change, the Frenchman changed the situation on Saturday with victory in Race 2. David, who started second, took the lead from the first turn, no longer let go. With this third victory this season, the R-Ace GP driver regains some points against the top 3 drivers in the FRECA championship.

Precisely, it was at the start that everything was decided. Paul Aron (Prema), who started from pole, failed to maintain his position at the Source. Behind, in the peloton, the accidents continued: Santiago Ramos (KIC Motorsport), hit from behind before the first braking by Lorenzo Fluxa (R-Ace), was propelled into the wall. A few meters further on, Noel Leon (Arden) made contact with Hamda Al Qubaisi (Prema), before himself being hit from behind by Pietro Armanni (Monolite Racing).

Beganovic consolidates his championship lead

With several cars on the ground, the Safety Car intervened on the track for around ten minutes. On the restart, Hadrien David took several steps ahead, to the point of no longer being worried by his pursuers. Behind, three drivers fought for 2nd place: Gabriel Bortoleto (R-Ace) got the better of Paul Aron, then the winner of Race 1, Dino Beganovic (Prema). The race finally ended behind the safety car, which had to intervene after Piotr Wisnicki (KIC Motorsport) went off the track.

Among the other French people on the grid, Owen Tangavelou (RPM) came 9th, after having fought for 5th place for a long time. After his first podium in FRECA on Friday, Sami Meguetounif (MP Motorsport) failed to score points, in 11th place. Maceo Capietto (Monolite) and Victor Bernier (FA Racing) finished grouped in 16th and 17th place. Esteban Masson (ART Grand Prix) is the last Frenchman, in 22nd place.

In the championship, Dino Beganovic increased his lead over Gabriele Mini (ART GP), who finished 6th. The Swede is now 41 points ahead of the Italian. Hadrien David is still 4th, 66 points behind the leader.
