Belov on pole, David and Hadjar in ambush

There will be no sixth pole in a row for Grégoire Saucy, or ninth pole at all this season, after the one won for Race 2 earlier in the morning. The Swiss was indeed stolen the spotlight by Mikhael Belov (G4 Racing) and twenty-one other drivers since he will start in 22nd position.

David and Hadjar 2nd and 3rd

As is often the case, the Helvetian and ART Grand Prix waited a little longer than the others to line up the fast laps. The strategy, which has often worked, this time backfired as traffic, first, then an error in his last push lap, then prevented him from improving his time at the end of the session. Pole honors therefore go to Russian Mikhael Belov, who joined the championship along the way and who is only taking part in his second meeting with the Swiss team G4 Racing. In race 1 (this Saturday, 19:25 p.m.), he will have the two Frenchmen Hadrien David (R-ace GP) and Isack Hadjar (R-ace GP) in his mirrors.

Already extremely solid in the morning with a 4th place on the grid for the C2, Hadrien David therefore confirms his good form on one of his favorite tracks. For his part, his teammate Isack Hadjar finished as the best rookie of the session and returned to his usual positions after his 16th place in Q1. As a reminder, race 1 will take place this Saturday at 19:25 p.m., while race 2, which will see Grégoire Saucy start on pole ahead of Gabriele Mini (ART Grand Prix) and David Vidales (Prema) will take place this Sunday at 11:35 a.m.
