Bortoleto converts his pole into victory, David again 2nd

He had to work but he got it! Like Paul Aron (Prema) the day before, Gabriel Bortoleto (R-ace GP) completed a very clean race for Barcelona this Sunday to take he knows 2^e victory of the season after starting from pole position.

And like Paul Aron on Saturday, the Brazilian also had to deal with the return of Hadrien David in the final moments of the race. Very fast in his teammate's mirrors, the Tricolore once again returned to contact with the leader but like 24 hours earlier he never managed to find an opening on Gabriel Bortoleto, very solid when defending his position.

Under pressure from Hadrien David, the Auriverde was helped at the end of the event by the intervention of the safety car after the collision between Victor Bernier (FA Racing) and Dino Beganovic (Prema). The race was ultimately not restarted, Gabriel Bortoleto crossed the finish line behind the Safety Car to pocket the 25 points for victory on Catalan soil ahead of his teammate and Pierre-Louis Chovet (RPM).

Championship leader, Dino Beganovic did not have the best weekend of his season. After his 11^e place from the day before, the Swede finished 10^e this Sunday postponing his coronation to Mugello next week. As for the teams, Prema is crowned champion in this 2022 season.
