Colapinto doubles the stakes in Austria

There's no stopping Franco Colapinto! Already a double poleman here at Spielberg, the Argentinian also managed to add a second victory to his weekend, this Sunday, by winning race 2. In difficulty at the start of the year, Colapinto made a perfect Austrian copy, since he took fifty points out of a possible fifty. He is ahead of championship leader Grégoire Saucy (ART Grand Prix) and surprising rookie Gabriel Bortoleto (FA Racing).

David out at the first corner

As is often the case in this category, overtaking was not legion. But the race was marked by a spectacular incident on the first lap. While he was on the outside at turn 1 just after the start, Hadrien David (R-ace GP) was literally taken out by Mikhael Belov (F4 Racing) to the point where his car R-ace GP found itself on two wheels! The Habs are unscathed but they lose big in the maneuver in the fight for the championship.

The other Frenchman Isack Hadjar (R-ace GP) took advantage of the Belov-David clash to recover two places and finish in the Top 5, once again ahead of his competitor for the title of best rookie, the Italian Gabriele Mini (ART Grand Prix). Nicolas Todt's protégé only finished 11th. In the championship, Grégoire Saucy (ART Grand Prix) is now 70 points ahead of Hadrien David.
