Cock-a-doodle Doo ! Five months to the day after his first success at Le Castellet, Hadrien David (R-ace GP) scored his second victory of the season by dominating Race 1 of the last meeting of the season at Monza. The native of Royan took a tricolor double and even an R-ace GP triple as he beat a spinning Isack Hadjar (R-ace GP) and their teammate Zane Maloney.

Author of a perfect start from pole, Hadrien David instantly shifted to the right part of the track to immediately close the door on his front row companion Grégoire Saucy, which also allowed Colapinto to infiltrate the first corner. But halfway through the race, the Swiss champion ended up passing the Argentinian again in the game of aspirations, before Isack Hadjar, himself, took advantage of an error by Colapinto to also climb onto the podium.

Hadjar, crowned rookie of the season

The French rookie also put on a show in the temple of speed. Starting 6th, Isack first got rid of Andrea Rosso at the start, before getting the better of his teammate Zane Maloney (R-ace GP) and Franco Colapinto (MP Motorsport) after an error from the Argentinian. At the end of the race, Isack even managed to pass Grégoire Saucy, after the latter had to go through the escape route at the first corner following poor braking.

Facing the flying R-ace GPs, who scored a third hat-trick after the two Monaco races, Grégoire Saucy was also overtaken by Zane Maloney (R-ace GP). The other information from this race is the rookie title secured by Isack Hadjar. The Tricolore arrived with eleven points ahead of Gabriele Mini (ART Grand Prix), but his eighteen points acquired in Race 1 and the Italian's retirement allowed him to be titled with one round remaining. .

In the standings, one race before the end of the season (race 2 Sunday 12:10 p.m.), Hadrien David took the opportunity to regain second place in the championship from Paul Aron. He is now 17 units ahead of the Estonian. Isack Hadjar took the opportunity to move back to 5th in the championship, ahead of Franco Colapinto.
