Dino Beganovic (Prema) is no longer the only driver to have three victories this season. Already victorious at Monza during the first round and at Paul-Ricard more recently, Paul Aron (Prema) scored a 3e success this year during Race 1 of the FRECA in Zandvoort this Saturday.

However, the task was not easy for Paul Aron in the Dutch seaside resort. Starting from pole position, the Estonian was put under pressure by Hadrien David (R-ace GP) throughout Race 1. To defend himself, the Prema driver skillfully used the Push-to-Pass button giving it 18 additional horsepower.

Under the threat of Hadrien David, Paul Aron had to manage a restart less than a minute from the end after the intervention of the safety car caused by the exit of the track of Keith Donegan (RPM) 5 minutes from the checkerboard . Despite the pressure put on by the Habs, the Estonian resisted until the end to cross the finish line with a lead of 7 tenths. Kas Haverkort (VAR) completed the podium followed by Gabriele Mini (ART Grand Prix) and championship leader Dino Beganovic (Prema).

unhappy Bernier

Among the other French people, Victor Bernier (FA Racing) may have some regrets at the end of this first race of the weekend. Firmly installed at 6e place and in a good position to win the Rookies, the Habs lost everything at the time of the restart.

Badly coming out of the first banking of the Zandvoort track and then hampered by a slow Michael Belov (MP Motorsport), Victor Bernier fell back to 12e before taking the checkerboard in 11e position. The victory among the Rookies finally went to Joshua Dufek (VAR) who ranked 6e.

Victor Benier's compatriots, Sami Meguetounif (MP Motorsport), Esteban Masson (FA Racing), Maceo Capietto (Monolite) and Owen Tangavelou (G4 Racing) respectively ranked 14e, 15e, 17e and 18e.
