Here is the big first for Hadrien David (R-ace GP) this season! Deprived of pole position since the start of the campaign, the Habs pulled out all the stops at the right time. Present in Group 1 of FRECA qualifications, the driver of the Vendée team took advantage of the improvement in track conditions as he approached the checkerboard to finish first in this Q1.

However, behind Kas Haverkort (VAR) and Michael Belov (MP Motorsport) with less than a minute to go, Hadrien David waited until the last moments to make his last attempt. Comfortable in the streets of the Principality since the start of the morning, the Frenchman was able to complete a clean lap without being hampered by traffic and thus be able to beat Haverkort and Belov with a time of 1'29"802 which gave him almost 2 tenths ahead of his closest pursuer.

The fastest man in his group, Hadrien David took pole position for Race 1 of this Monaco round, Race 3e of the season. Present in the same part as the R-ace GP driver, the French Maceo Capietto (Monolite) and Esteban Masson (FA Racing) respectively ranked 7e and 9e more than 7 tenths of their compatriot.

Leader Beganovic responds

Placed him in 2e qualifying group on the Rock, Dino Beganovic (Prema) demonstrated that he was the strong man at the start of the season. If he was unable to shine in free practice this Thursday, the Swede stood out during the 2e part of the qualifying session.

Fighting with Gabriele Mini (ART Grand Prix), Gabriele Bortoleto (R-ace GP) and Mari Boya (ART Grand Prix), Dino Beganovic gave them no chance in Monaco. If the battle was a close time between the 4 men, the Prema driver finally won the day with a time of 1’29”459 pushing Mini back, 2e, more than 3 tenths behind and confirming that he is not the championship leader by chance.

Note the 7e time of Sami Meguetounif (MP Motorsport) less than a tenth from the Top 5. Victor Bernier (FA Racing) and Owen Tangavelou (G4 Racing) had less success with the 11e and 12e chronos.
