Race 1 didn't really suit him in the rain, with no points scored. But Paul Aron did not let himself be defeated and set the record straight this Sunday, by going for pole position. The pilot Mercedes managed to convert it into victory, his first of the season, after finishing 3rd in the championship last year.

Already very comfortable last year during the last two rounds of the year at Mugello then at Monza, Prema confirmed his good form by dominating all the sessions of the weekend. It was Dino Beganovic, winner of Race 1 on Saturday, who finished behind Aron this Sunday.

The Swede of Ferrari Driver Academy, first leader of the championship at the end of this round, got the better of Gabriele Mini (ART Grand Prix) in the second lap, the Italian closing the podium. The introduction of push-to-pass seems to have borne fruit since numerous overruns were observed.

In this little game, Michael Belov (MP Motorsport) particularly stood out. The Russian, who obviously races under the FIA banner, finished 5th after starting from 9th position. Excellent start to the season also for Kas Haverkort (Van Amersfoort), who took a good 4th place after finishing 5th the day before.

On the French side, the reigning vice-champion Hadrien David (R-ace GP) is the one who shone the most. Starting 7th, the Frenchman finished in the same place. After being overtaken by Belov, he then got the better of Sebastian Montoya (Prema). Excellent score given by rookie Macéo Capietto (Monolite Racing), with his first point won (10th) just ahead of his compatriot Sami Meguetounif (MP Motorsport). The two FA Racing teammates Victor Bernier and Esteban Masson finished 17th and 22nd respectively. Owen Tangavelou (G4 Racing) is 26th.
