We take the same ones and start again, or the same one. The undisputed leader of the 2021 campaign, Grégoire Saucy (ART Grand Prix) once again imposed his rule in qualifying, an exercise that he mastered to perfection.
On a wet Spa-Francorchamps track, the Swiss left no chance to his rivals thanks to a best lap completed in 2'35"363, thus offering himself his 8th pole of the year.
The only one able to stand up to his teammate, Gabriele Mini finished just over a tenth behind while David Vidales (Prema) ranked 3rd, 6 tenths behind Grégoire Saucy.
The first Frenchman on the grid is Hadrien David (R-Ace GP) who finishes these first qualifications in 4th place (+0“961). His partner Zane Maloney completes the Top 5.
A time seventh when the checkered flag was waved, Isack Hadjar (R-Ace GP) will finally start from 16th position.
