The ART Grand Prix duel promised and kept its promises in this Race 2 at Spa-Francorchamps.
Starting from pole, Grégoire Saucy (ART Grand Prix) was surprised by his teammate Gabriele Mini who took the lead when braking at Les Combes on the first lap.
Stung with pride, the Swiss reacted quickly and gave back to the Italian by regaining his place in the same place. Then the demonstration begins.
Once again in control, Grégoire Saucy perfectly managed the restart of the race with just under a quarter of an hour to go. Gabriele Mini for his part suffered and saw the two R-Ace GP drivers, Zane Maloney and Hadrien David, slipping under his nose, going from 2nd to 4th place.
Although pursued by Zane Maloney, the championship leader will not be really worried and will go first to the finish line to claim his 7th victory of the season.
Fourth before the start, Hadrien David took a nice podium, his sixth of the campaign and the second of the weekend, to remain in 2nd position in the drivers' standings.
Isack Hadjar (R-Ace GP), the other Habs, on the grid finished 9th after having made a good comeback starting from 16th on the grid.
