  • The Tim Tramnitz raid continues. The young German indeed won race 2 this Sunday, after having already won the first on Saturday and set the best time in his qualifying group during the two qualifying sessions. The R-ace GP driver performed well this weekend by scoring 50 points and taking control of the championship, after having experienced a difficult first weekend at Imola. Thanks to this Catalan meeting, he clearly positions himself as a contender for the title.
  • Already second on Saturday, Andrea Kimi Antonelli (Prema) scores big points. The rookie, who is officially not one having competed in (and won!) the FRMDC last winter, scored thirty-six important points in the title race and launched his duel with Tramnitz. He kept the pressure on Tramnitz throughout the race, with both men finishing more than four seconds ahead of the 3rd place finisher.
  • One of the events of this race is obviously the first points but above all... the first podium of the season for Sami Meguetounif (MP Motorsport). The French driver, who started 3rd, finished in the same position after almost overtaking Antonelli at the start, the Italian closing the door perfectly. The Marseillais is launching his season perfectly after being involved in a collision the day before.
  • Various fortunes for his little compatriots. Already the author of an encouraging 5th place on Saturday, Macéo Capietto once again managed to climb into the points by finishing 7th. Owen Tangavelou (Trident) and Victor Bernier (MP Motorsport) finished 15th and 16th.
  • The race was marked by a short neutralization after Saintéloc Racing driver Lucas Medina went off the track. Few changes to report in the top 10 compared to the starting order. Despite the push to pass and the removal of the chicane, overtaking was unfortunately not legion this weekend.
