FR2.0 – Simon Gachet joins Tech 1 Racing

Simon Gachet will play his second full season in Eurocup Formula Renault 2.0 within Tech 1 Racing. The French driver had a difficult first year in the World Series by Renault when he left Arta Engineering for ART Junior Team, even if he took fifth place in the ALPS ranking with Arnaud Tanguy's structure.

“We have been following the development of young Simon for about 3 years”, declared Simon Abadie, the team manager of Tech 1 Racing. “We noticed a certain potential in him, he will become an important piece in our team since he has the ability to achieve excellent results. Tech 1 Racing took eighth place in the Teams rankings last year. The season will begin on April 25 and 26 at Motorland Aragon (Spain).
