Author of a very solid performance for the last race of the 2022 edition of the FRAC, Isack Hadjar (Hitech GP) concluded his Asian preparation perfectly with a second success, a week after that obtained in Dubai.

Unhappy since the start of the campaign, the Ile-de-France native had one last meeting to negotiate this Sunday before returning to Europe. On the Abu Dhabi side where he took his first pole position of the year, the Habs showed great things proving that they could have fought for the title if mechanical problems had not slowed them down.

Starting very well when the lights went out, Isack Hadjar took advantage of the poor start of Jak Crawford (Abu Dhabi Racing) behind him to give himself some air at the start. Firmly installed at the head of the race, the member of Red Bull Junior Team had to make do with two successive Safety Car interventions after Amna and Khaled Al Qubaisi (Abu Dhabi Racing) went off the track at turn 14.

The gap with his teammate Gabriele Mini reduced to nothing, Isack Hadjar managed the restarts perfectly and protected himself from a possible attack from the Italian. In great shape and with a car that did not act up this time, the Ile-de-France resident could fly to his second victory of the year with a little less than a second ahead of the Transalpine driver who has never been able to attack him.

In the championship, Isack Hadjar finished 3rd with 134 points behind Pepe Martí (Pinnacle Motorsport) and Arthur Leclerc.

Second on the grid, Jak Crawford may regret his bad start. Despite a good race pace, the American finished at the foot of a podium completed by Paul Aron (Abu Dhabi Racing) while Patrik Pasma (Evans GP) grabbed the last place in the Top 5.

Sacred this Saturday, Arthur Leclerc (Mumbai Falcons) made his first error of the season by going wide at the last corner. Falling last, the Monegasque still managed to cross the line in 14th position.
