A few hours after losing pole position by only two thousandths of a second, Paul Aron had his revenge with Dino Beganovic (Prema). The Estonian managed to win his second race of the season after a fratricidal duel with his Swedish teammate and friend.

Due in particular to the introduction of push-to-pass, which made it possible to offer the best race for a very long time in FRECA, the debates were particularly close at the front. Paul Aron, who started 3rd, managed to overtake Gabriele Bortoleto in the first third of the race, before attacking his teammate, therefore. After showing himself in the rear view for the first time in the double straight at Beausset, the Estonian managed to overtake the championship leader in the last corner halfway through the race, before the Swede regained his position at the end of the race. straight line.

Then he returned, five minutes from the end, successfully, at the chicane of the mistral straight. With the push-to-pass, Beganovic tried to respond in the double right, but Aron closed the door and Dino was close to losing the car. But the pilot Mercedes finally had the last word and won. The two Prema drivers are accompanied on the podium by Mikhael Belov. The Russian having got the better of Bortoleto in the final lap!

On the French side, Esteban Masson (FA Racing) was the victim of a collision with Duerksen, forcing him to go through the pit lane. Note the beautiful attack race of Hadrien David (R-ace GP). Starting 9th, the Habs finished 6th, thanks to numerous overtakes, including a sublime one over teammate Lorenzo Fluxa in the double right of Beausset. Owen Tangavelou (G4 Racing) took 14th place, just ahead of Sami Meguetounif (MP Motorsport), 15th.
