Alex Palou took a second pole in qualifying for Race 2 of the World Series Formula V8 3.5 at the Nürburgring.

FV8 3.5 – Palou doubles the lead in qualifying

Alex Palou (Teo Martin Motorsport) claimed a second pole in the World Series Formula V8 3.5 at the Nürburgring (Germany) by winning qualifying for Race 2. Despite a mechanical problem during his formation lap, Nelson Mason's replacement was able to achieve a time of 1'40''840, more than 3 tenths ahead of Diego Menchaca (Fortec Motorsports) who will start alongside him on the front row.

The leader of the Drivers' classification Pietro Fittipaldi (Lotus) had to settle for 6th position, finishing more than 7 tenths behind the reference time. The Brazilian will start behind Matevos Isaakyan (SMP Racing by AVF), Roy Nissany (RP Motorsport) and Egor Orudzhev (SMP Racing by AVF).

Race 1 of the World Series Formula V8 3.5 will begin this Saturday July 15 at 16:10 p.m. The start of the second event will take place this Sunday 16 at 11 a.m.
