The British structure has announced the trio which will defend its colors in the GP3 Series this season.

GP3 – Arden International confirms Kari, Pulcini and Schothorst for 2017

Distant vice-champion Teams in 2016 behind the untouchable armada of ART Grand Prix, Arden International will aim to win a title that has been denied to Richard Dent's team since 2013 and the Drivers' crown won by the Russian Daniil Kvyat, now a regular driver at Toro Rosso en F1.

With this in mind, Arden International has completely changed its line-up compared to 2016. Exit Jake Dennis, Jack Aitken and Tatiana Calderon and make way for the Finn who is a member of the program Red Bull Junior Niko Kari arrived from Formula 3, to the Italian Leonardo Pulcini, reigning EuroFormula Open champion and the Dutchman Steijn Schothorst, lined up in GP3 last year with Campos.

“We tested all three drivers at the end of 2016 (in Abu Dhabi, Editor’s note) and we were very impressed by the way each of them quickly integrated into the team, specifies Team Manager Richard Dent.

It's great to be able to confirm Niko, Leo and Steijn for 2017: it's a good combination of rookies and experienced drivers in the series and I have no doubt that everyone will play leading roles and be in contention for victories. »

The first official GP3 Series tests this year will take place on March 22 and 23 in Estoril, Portugal.
