Grégoire Saucy wins first pole of the season

The Swiss Grégoire Saucy (ART Grand Prix) took the first pole position of the season in Formula Regionale by Alpine. Frenchman Hadrien David (R-ace GP) qualified 3rd.

Grégoire Saucy wins first pole of the season

Grégoire Saucy (ART Grand Prix) won the first pole position in the history of Formula Regionale By Alpine. He will start in pole position for Race 2, scheduled for this Sunday at 12:15 p.m. 7th in Formula Renault Eurocup for his first full campaign in 2020, the Swiss beat Frenchman Hadrien David (R-ace GP/+0 »189) and his former teammate at ART Paul Aron (Prema/+0 »208). 

Superb move from Tricolor Hadrien David who indeed managed to gain a position after coming out following a red flag two minutes from the end of the session. His compatriot and teammate Isack Hadjar (R-ace GP) qualified 8th (+0 »677), sandwiched between Dino Beganovic (Prema/7th) and Gabriele Mini (ART Grand Prix/9th). Fastest in free practice 1, Briton Alex Quinn (Arden) will start from 6th position.
