Champion of F4 France in 2019, Hadrien David had a more difficult year in 2020 for his first campaign in Formula Renault (10th). As a result, the native of Royan, who is no longer a resident of the Renault Sport Academy, decided to leave MP Motorsport to complete his second season in Formula Regional by Alpine, within the R-ace GP team. “I am super happy and proud to join R-ace GP for the 2021 season. I am happy to be back in the team after the great success we had together in 2019” he told us. Although he was not a separate member of the team, he had in fact been surrounded by an R-ace GP engineer during his F4 championship title.
Thibaut de Merindol, the boss of the R-ace GP team, was also happy to welcome him to his ranks. “We know Hadrien well and his burst of speed. He is not the record holder for the number of pole positions in F4 France for nothing. Certainly, the transition from F4 to Formula Renault was not easy for him. He had to adapt to a new category and to working with a team. What encouraged us to consider him is everything we know about him from the past, his burst of speed and especially his second part of the 2020 season with convincing results, which often allowed him to reach the podium. » With the arrival of Hadrien, the line-up of the Vendée team is now complete since the Frenchman will team up with the Barbadian Zane Maloney, the Swiss Lena Bühler and the other French Isack Hadjar.
