Honda: At the heart of the V de V Endurance Series

Today, the brand is making many efforts to be at the forefront, in the WTCC on the one hand, but also in F1 since the return alongside McLaren has been confirmed for 2015. This passion for motorsport must be available at all levels and in all disciplines, the partnership with the V de V Endurance Series is an opportunity to once again share this passion for competition with as many people as possible.

The world's leading engine manufacturer is the supplier of the 2-liter units equipping all of the cars in the Endurance Proto challenge. On a technological level, we also know that the choice of these engines is not trivial, the latter being a reference both for its performance and for its longevity, while allowing the development of prototypes with a reduced operating cost. . This block should be replaced in the coming years; Honda is already working on an even more efficient engine that can offer the same advantages. The integration of hybrid technology could be considered, but certainly over a much longer time frame given the development costs that are currently difficult to integrate into the budgets of the Endurance Proto championship cars. If Honda is interested in these disciplines, it is also in the long term, whether within the V de V Endurance Series, but also in numerous European championships.

The idea of sharing this passion for automobiles is essential for the brand. Honda is therefore taking the opportunity to set up dealership operations with its customers on race weekends. At the heart of the V de V Endurance Series events, you discover the world of racing by accessing the paddocks alongside the drivers. This is also why Christophe Decultot, general manager of Honda France, wanted to come here.
