Snow interrupts testing

Only one day of testing was possible. Starting in the dry, the session allowed the thirty competitors to get their bearings with their Formula Renault 2.0.

Adrian Quaife-Hobbs (Motopark Academy), Antonio Felix da Costa (Motopark Academy), Kevin Magnussen (Motopark Academy), Albert Costa (Epsilon Euskadi) and Miki Monras (SG Formula) livened up the morning with a slight advantage for the last city which completed its best lap in 2:19:370 before the break.

In the afternoon, the weather did not change. And the appearance of rain does not make the work of the teams easier. Several red flags prevent drivers from setting fast laps. At the end of the day, Miki Monras achieved the best time in the rain ahead of Adrian Quaife-Hobbs, Albert Costa and Jean-Eric Vergne (SG Formula).

“We worked well with SG Formula throughout the off-season and with each test session it got better and better,” confirms Miki Monras. “The two sessions were very interesting and I'm really happy to have the best time in both the dry and the wet. It's perfect before starting in Barcelona, another circuit that I really like. »

Tuesday morning, the snow covering the track forced all the teams to leave the circuit. Next meeting in Barcelona for the launch of the season.
