Alexander Smolyan will start from pole position for race 1 of the Hungarian Grand Prix on Saturday morning, after having taken pole position this Friday (1’51”348). The Russian will start on the front line alongside Logan sargeant (Prema), slower by 0”258.
Both men will have in their rearview mirror Theo Pourchaire (ART Grand Prix). Already the author of a very good qualification in Styria last week (5th), the French rookie continues to amaze everyone in Hungary. He will indeed start in 3rd position on Saturday morning (10:25 a.m.).
Initially scheduled for the beginning of the afternoon, qualifying was interrupted after just five minutes, in the rain, after Liam Lawson (Hitech) and Lirim Zendeli (Trident) crashed. It was therefore rescheduled for this Friday evening. Usually fast in the dry, none of the three drivers Trident will not start in the top ten. The championship leader Oscar piastri (Prema) will start from 6th position.
