Lamo Racing puts Patrice and Paul Lafargue on its Formula Renaults

For the 2013 season, Robert and Laurent Lamolinairie (father and son) left with the same motivation in order to get young drivers racing on their Formula Renault, but also with the desire to attract new drivers to the challenge car.

In Dijon, Patrice and Paul Lafargue took their places in the seats of the two Lamo Racing cars. The approach is original, because the two drivers are riding here in the only discipline (apart from the Funyo) that they had not yet tested until now in the V de V Endurance Series! Also father and son, Patrice and Paul compete together in Endurance GT and Endurance Proto. Patrice also drives a VHC, but with his partner Frédéric Da Rocha, who already drives a Formula Master! Make the equation, it was no less necessary for the Lafargues to also find themselves at the wheel of a single-seater at some point in order to test new driving sensations.
After the first runs, the two men were delighted with this handling. A different behavior compared to their Norma and their Porsche GT3-R, but a real pleasure to participate in these sessions. Patrice Lafargue will be content with these free practices, to concentrate on the three endurance events in which he is engaged in Dijon.

Paul will take the experience a little further by participating in qualifying and at least two of the three races. A very good timed session on this Dijon circuit, and in difficult track conditions, since the n°1 of Lamo Racing obtains the 12th fastest time overall, but above all the second time in class C, behind Sylvain Milesi, leader of this category. See you under the checkered flag for the first race which will open the day on Saturday. After this little “walk” around Dijon, it would not be surprising to see the Lafargue family take a closer interest in the Single-seater Challenge next season; choice recruits in a category which is attracting more and more drivers.
