Baguette's last good move

Bertrand Baguette has Formula 1 as an objective. Titled in Formula Renault 3.5 Series last month at the Nürburgring, the Belgian driver now has the ambition to get a seat in the premier single-seater category. But, before that, Baguette wanted to perform at Motorland Aragon to help International Draco Racing win the teams title.

Winner of the first race on Saturday, the Belgian did it again. Starting fourth, Baguette benefited from Jon Lancaster's puncture, before overtaking Daniil Move to move into second position. After the pit stop of the leader, Fairuz Fauzy, the Draco driver was able to take the lead of the race and set the best lap times. A decisive period for the Belgian who, after his stop, was able to keep control of the race by ahead of Fairuz Fauzy.

The end of the race is just a formality for Baguette, who scores his second victory of the weekend, the fifth this season and allows Draco to take the title in the teams category. “ I can only be happy about this weekend, noted the 2009 champion at the end of the race. I dedicate this victory to my team. International Draco Racing wins the Teams title and they really deserve it. This team is like a family to me, it's not going to be easy to separate from them. But I have to do it! Now that I have won this Championship, the logical next step is F1. We do everything for this. »
