The first champion is already known at Magny-Cours

To warm it up a little more, David Droux opened fire this Friday by asserting himself, within the Single-seater Challenge field, as the first winner of the 2015 vintage of the series initiated by Eric Van de Vyver.

Challenge Single seat V de V: a formality for Droux

With a coefficient of 1,5, the Niverne stage could still allow Riccardo Cazzaniga to dethrone David Droux from the leadership he has held since the opening round in Spain. But with 147 points behind and 180 left to distribute this weekend, it would have taken a miracle. Which therefore did not take place, because the Italian was not present to defend his chances during this final. It was therefore simply necessary for the Swiss from RC Formula to take the start to definitively take the crown. However, he set out to add style by signing a new position which he transformed into another indisputable victory, thus adding a 13th success in 15 races to his record this season. In the absence of his leader, Julien Falchero made the GSK Grand Prix colors shine by taking the second step of the podium ahead of Gilles Heriau (Formula Motorsport). At the gates of the Top-3, Christophe Hurni (Sports Promotion) wins in Gentleman Driver and precedes Oscar Arcila (SG Racing), first in the B classification.

Among the contenders for the title, the pair Thybaud / Abric (Porsche 944 Cup) is currently the best placed.

Funyo V de V Challenge: the return of the champion

At the start, which will be given a start, they will be ahead of the first F5 in the hands of Gwénaël Delomier who, on his land, still has hope of catching up with Romain Houllier with whom he shares the second row.

4 Hours Endurance GT / Touring: front row LM P3

Before Dons / Geddie, at the wheel of the No. 3 Ginetta LM P24, set their pace during the night session, in anticipation of the race which will end on Saturday at 22:25 p.m., the trio of the sister car of the LNT team, entrusted at Tomlinson / Simpson / Schjerpen, secured a second consecutive pole position ahead of their teammates. Behind this 100% English first line, the Ferrari 458 GT3 n°51 AF Corse of Cordoni / Zanuttini / Montermini will share second with the Pescarolo 02 of Poilpre / Da Cunha. Leader in the standings, the Pagny, Perrier and Bouvet crew (Ferrari 458 GT2 n°2 Visiom) will start in 5th position, while in 8th, Kanaroglou / Campos (Mosler MT 900 Escuela Espanola de Pilotes) will lead the GTV2 pack. In the Silhouettes clan, finally, success for the moment is on the side of the GC10-V8 n°20 of Calari / Calmon / Alexander-David.

6 Hours V de V Endurance Proto: Ligier like at home in free practice

The Magny-Cours manufacturer did not miss its debut on this track where the different evolutions of the Ligier JS 53 filed down the asphalt during their development. Le Graff thus struck hard from the start by lifting its trio Trouillet / Clairay / Perroy (Ligier JS 53 Evo 2 n°29) to the top of the first hierarchy of private tests, ahead of the n°91 of the team in the hands of Gauvin / Pasian /Findlay. Ultimate completed the top-3 before the No. 35 entrusted to the Lahaye / Heriau / Nicolet crew asserted itself at the forefront of the last two sessions, day and night. Giorgio Mondini also lifted the No. 77 Euro International to 2nd place in the second session and repeated at night. Finally, to note, during this one, the excellent 3rd time achieved by Tinseau, associated with Frédéric Sausset on the Ligier n°84 SRT 41.
