Ricard to start the home stretch

“The second part of the season will take the V de V competitors Endurance Series in three magnificent destinations, from Castellet to Estoril, via Magny-Cours. This final sprint will begin from August 28 to 30 with a first stopover in Provence, in a Paul Ricard complex with a very selective route and superb infrastructure. It is also surrounded by fabulous surroundings, with the proximity to the sea making it one of the most popular rounds on the calendar. The welcome from the circuit team, led by Stéphane Clair, is also excellent, and it is always a pleasure to organize such an event together. We were the first to perform there when it reopened for competition in 2009 and it has since remained a very popular stop for our organization and our competitors. This edition will confirm it for us, with the presence of richly filled fields, notably the Challenge GT/Tourisme V de V which is gaining momentum with the arrival of a BMW Z4 from the very renowned Italian team ROAL Motorsport, and two new LM P3s . These commitments are important for the future, because when you taste the V de V Endurance Series, you are seduced by the competition and, above all, the friendliness of the paddock. As always, Paul Ricard promises to be a party, so from Thursday evening, come along! »

12 Hours V de V Endurance Proto: The impossible prediction

The introduction of a new regulation – relating to handicaps allocated according to the level of the crews – has offered us sumptuous races since the beginning of the year, at the end of which the winner is only a few seconds ahead of his runner-up. Judged over 12 hours, will the Castellet event go to CD Sport or IDEC Sport Racing? These two teams respectively occupy the first two places in the Challenge with the Norma M20 FC n°30 of Accary / Bole Besançon / Foubert and the Ligier JS53 Evo 2 of Patrice and Paul Lafargue, associated with Enjalbert. Graff Racing, installed on the third step of the provisional podium with the Ligier n°29 of Trouillet / Clairay / Perroy, will however have its say, just like the Norma n°8 TFT of the reigning champion Capillaire, unlucky from the start season with his teammates Ferté and Illiano.

4 Hours Endurance GT / Touring: LM P3s in trouble?

The Var stopover will see the return to the track of the Ginetta LM P3 from Prime Racing Luxembourg which, with the Pescarolo, animated the start of the race in Dijon. She will be joined by two other prototypes from the English manufacturer, entered by Speed Factory and the official LNT team. Lawrence Tomlinson, who heads this structure - creator of the car - seems seduced by this unique concept in Europe which consists of mixing LM P3, GT and Silhouette. Thanks to the leveling of performances, the GTs nevertheless remain the benchmarks and, vengefully, Patrice and Paul Lafargue (Porsche 911 GT3-R n°1) will be keen to regain their leadership after a nightmarish meeting in Burgundy. An event won by the Ferrari 458 GT2 n°2 of the new leaders Pagny / Perrier / Bouvet, authors of a faultless run against the Mosler MT900 n°8 of Kanaroglou / Campos, currently third in the Challenge and at the head of GTV2. Also watch out for AF Corse, which knows the Ferrari 458 GT3 like the back of its hand, or ROAL Motorsport, which is new to the championship but which has a solid international reputation with its BMW Z4 GT3!

V de V VHC Endurance Challenge: To your heart’s content

A playground steeped in history for Historic Competition Vehicles which are the pride of V de V Endurance Series meetings. This field is dominated in the ranking by the magnificent Porsche 911 3,0 RSR n°1 of the indestructible Bernard Moreau, which is ahead of the Chevron B60 n°121 of John Doe. Victorious in Dijon, the latter is installed at the top of the hierarchy of prototypes, among which he leads the Osella PA9 of Gérard Pargamin and the Ford GT 40 of Alain Bazard.

Funyo V de V Challenge: The beauty of numbers

Success cannot be denied for the nice prototypes imagined by Yves Orhant. In this spectacularly dense peloton, Romain Houllier and Gwenaël Delomier have so far managed to do well, but Cédric Gardin is never very far away, just like Cyril Denis!

Challenge Single seat V de V: The hunt for Droux is on

Although he was dislodged from his pedestal during the first Burgundian race due to a penalty, David Droux remains the master of the FR 2.0. Riccardo Cazzaniga, his runner-up, hangs on, but the Swiss controls. As for Oscar Arcila, impeccable in B, he completes the current leading trio.
