Leong wins Macau Grand Prix

This is a historic victory for Charles Leong. First, because he is the first driver to win at the Macau Grand Prix at the wheel of a Formula 4, the F3 international players who were not allowed to participate this year due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Finally, because he is only the second Macanese in history to win on his land after the success of André Couto in 2000.

He also won ahead of his compatriot Andy Chang, who finished just 5 tenths of a second behind the winner. The Macanese duo was simply above the rest in terms of speed. Since the 3rd, the Chinese Sicheng Li, finished more than 23 seconds behind. By beating Li, Chang took the opportunity to finish in second place in the Chinese F4 championship. Crowned F4 champion on Saturday after the qualifying race which he finished in 11th place, Zijian He finished 7th in the Macau Grand Prix.
