He is definitely unstoppable at the start of the season. Fastest in the second qualifying session this Friday, Grégoire Saucy (ART Grand Prix) took his third pole out of four possible since the start of the season. The Swiss also outperformed the competition by taking half a second from Alex Quinn (Arden) and his rookie teammate Gabriele Mini (ART Grand Prix).
The Burgundian team is particularly in good spirits since with Thomas Ten Brinke's 7th place on the grid, it simply manages to place its three drivers in the Top 10. Paul Aron (Prema) and Franco Colapinto (MP Motorsport) complete the Top 5.
Just behind, the French are in ambush as Isack Hadjar (R-ace GP/+0 »791) and Hadrien David (R-ace GP/+0 »913) finish 6th and 8th. In difficulty in Q1 with a 19th place, David Vidales (Prema) did better with a 10th place but remains far from his standards established at Imola three weeks ago, where he won a pole. Race 1 will be held on Saturday at 13:30 p.m.
