He will therefore have left nothing for anyone in Barcelona. Fastest in every session since free practice, Grégoire Saucy dominated the second and final race of the weekend this Sunday, a day after also winning Race 1. The ART Grand Prix driver dominated Alex Quinn (Arden) and Isack Hadjar (R-ace GP), author of a fantastic race to achieve his first podium.
The Briton Alex Quinn, who started on the front row alongside Saucy, got off to a better start, but the Swiss perfectly managed the battle of the first corner from the outside by coming out with more speed. Like Saturday, he managed the post-Safety-Car restart perfectly to give himself a controlled end of the race. Here he is with a lead of 28 points over Paul Aron, his runner-up.
To enjoy great battles on the track, you had to look towards Isack Hadjar (R-ace GP). After superbly getting rid of Gabriele Mini (ART Grand Prix) for 4th place, the Habs attacked Paul Aron (Prema) throughout the second part of the race. He finally succeeded in the very last laps, in a way that we completely ignore since the stream of the race crashed…
It is therefore a first podium in the category for Isack Hadjar, who discovers FRECA after a good season in Formula 4. He also finishes as the best rookie in the race. His compatriot Hadrien David (R-ace GP) had a more complicated race after his comeback the day before from 34th to 12th place. The Frenchman retired on the first lap, involved in a collision with two other big guns Franco Colapinto (MP Motorsport) and David Vidales (Prema).
