Meet at Motorland Aragón

For the second time this season, the Formula competitors Renault 3.5 Series will discover a new route. After Portimao in Portugal, the field will this time meet in Spain at Motorland Aragón where the championship final will take place. Already titled since the World Series by Renault meeting at the Nürburgring, Bertrand Baguette will have no other objectives than to win the team title with his teammate Marco Barba.

Facing them, the Carlin Motorsport team is 11 lengths behind and will once again line up its duo of ?Rookies? : Jaime Alguersuari and Oliver Turvey, both winners of a round this season. The first is official pilot Toro Rosso since the Hungarian Grand Prix while the second will participate in the GP2 Series Championship with the iSport team in 2010.

The fight for the honorary title of vice-champion is also undecided. Charles Pic (Tech 1 Racing) seems ideally placed to be Bertrand Baguette's runner-up. Relaunched by his first victory of the season, won on the Nürburgring circuit in front of his teammate Brendon Hartley, the Frenchman's mission in Spain is to contain James Walker (P1 Motorsport) and Jaime Alguersuari. Oliver Turvey, Fairuz Fauzy (Mofaz Fortec Motorsport) and Marcos Martinez (Pons Racing) can also claim this widely coveted second place.

During this final weekend of the World Series by Renault, great battles are also expected for the Drivers' titles in Eurocup Formula Renault 2.0 and Eurocup Mégane Trophy. In the first category, Albert Costa (Epsilon Euskadi) is two points ahead of Frenchman Jean-Eric Vergne (SG Formula) who will try to beat the Spaniard on his home soil. Finally in the Eurocup Mégane Trophy, the Dutchman Mike Verschuur (McGregor by Equipe Verschuur) will have to contain the attacks of Jonathan Hirschi (TDS Racing), second at 14 points.
