A GP3 team for Mark Webber

Motorsport will welcome a new discipline next year with the appearance of GP3, a championship which will be placed "under" GP2 and for which ten teams have been selected, most of them already well known to appear in other categories. This is how we find the teams currently in GP2 Series, Addax and ART Grand Prix, the latter also being present in F3 Euro Series.

This F3 championship has four other teams joining GP3: the efficient Mücke Motorsport, Hitech, Carlin Motorsport and Manor Motorsport, known for also having to join the Formula 1 next season. On the French side, in addition to ART, there is the presence of Tech 1 Racing, a team present in FR 3.5 Series with Brendon Hartley and Charles Pic.

We also find the Swiss team Jenzer, the Status team which led the Irish team to victory in A1GP and a newcomer, the MW Arden team. It is a structure set up in collaboration by Mark Webber (MW) and Christian Horner, boss of the team. Red Bull and Arden International (GP2).

The organizer of GP2 and GP3, Bruno Michel, explained how the ten teams were chosen. “ The selection process was thought out very carefully and we only selected selected teams that had the most success in their categories. This is of course a very important step for GP3 and I am very happy to welcome them. I sincerely believe that we benefit from a strong and extremely competitive group. »
