Valles (Liverpool) winner in Zolder

If Tottenham and Al Aïn won the two Zolder races this Sunday, it is Liverpool who have done well this weekend. Adrian Valles, by placing third in both rounds, collected the most points and therefore won the Zolder event. The Spanish driver wins 100 euros for his team.

In front of 12 spectators, including players from the Belgian football club Anderlecht, the first race was dominated by clubs from the British Isles. However, FC Midtjylland started from pole. But a mix-up by the mechanics in the pits delayed Kasper Andersen, who then made a mistake while trying to catch up. It was therefore the victory of the Tottenham Hotspurs, driven by Craig Dolby, who did not hide his great joy at the end of the race, which stood out. Glasgow and Liverpool completed the podium for a first race with British accents.

Although the second race of the afternoon started behind the safety car due to the wet track, it dried out very quickly. Esteban Guerrieri (Al Aïn) was able to prove himself the most skilful, winning his first victory in the Superleague, ranking ahead of the surprising Chinese Ho-Pin Tung at the wheel of the car of Atletico Madrid. And, as in the first race, and despite the reversed grid, Adrian Valles (Liverpool) once again got on the podium. The club from the north of England made a very good start to the season, being declared winners of the first two rounds of the season and leading the general classification of the discipline.
