World Series F V8 3.5 – Fittipaldi achieves the double

Pietro Fittipaldi (Lotus) once again converted his pole into victory by winning Race 2 of the World Series Formula V8 3.5 at Silverstone (Great Britain). The Brazilian remained out of reach of the competition despite a safety car which destroyed his lead following the collision between Matevos Isaakyan (SMP Racing by AVF) and Nelson Mason (Teo Martin Motorsports) at the Brooklands corner.

The Brazilian finally won ahead of Egor Orudzhev (SMP Racing by AVF), who started from 5th position on the grid, who saved his weekend after being downgraded from Race 1 following a technical inspection which revealed a weight minimum not respected. The Russian took 2nd place after the pit stops.

Roy Nissany (RP Motorsport) completed the podium after taking advantage of the poor start of René Binder (Lotus) who failed in 4th position behind his former teammate. Konstantin Tereschenko (Teo Martin Motorsport) completes the top five, finishing first rookie.
