Bagnaia dominates FP3 at Jerez ahead of Quartararo

Riding his Ducati GP22, Francesco Baganaia took the lead at the end of the third free practice session with a lap in 1'36.782. The Italian, who is aiming for a first pole since last year's Algarve GP, was ahead of fabio quartararo and Takaaki Nakagami's first Honda.

Marc Marquez took advantage of Jack Miller's wheel to take fourth time and a place in Q2. Maverick Viñales was fifth ahead of Enea Bastianini and another Aprilia, that of Aleix Espargaro. Joan Mir, equipped with a new swingarm, Jorge Martin and Jack Miller completed the list of drivers who will go directly to Q2.

Big loser, Johann Zarco, despite being on pole in Portimão, will have to go through the repechage just like Alex Rins or Miguel Oliveira.

Note that this morning, there were four crashes... four Hondas: Alex Marquez twice, Pol Espargaro and Stefan Bradl, guest rider this weekend aboard an RC213V equipped with some new features.
