Rain fell on the Mandalika circuit on Saturday morning, but it stopped before the third free practice session MotoGP, the track has not dried sufficiently to allow the protagonists in the category to progress compared to Friday.

Alex Rins completed the Top 5 after encountering a technical problem shortly before the checkered flag. Pol Espargaro took the second Honda in the hierarchy to sixth place ahead of Jack Miller, Miguel Oliveira, Joan Mir and Andrea Dovizioso.

The Indonesian weather did not spare Marquez, Bagnaia or even Mir who will have to go through the repechage on Saturday afternoon to try to grab one of the two places available in Q2.
