The much-feared rain for this weekend in Buriram has still not appeared. Despite still cloudy skies, the third free practice session for the Thai GP was held in the dry.
The perfect opportunity to try to reach Q2 straight away. During this FP3, Jorge Martin, although he made a mistake in the first minutes, was the fastest with a time of 1'30.205. The Spaniard is ahead of Jack Miller by 12 thousandths while Johann Zarco, leader Friday evening, sees himself pushed back to third place. Note that Miller fell at the very end of the session.
A reversal role for the @pramacracing boys! 🔄
Another 1-3 but this time it's @ 88jorgemartin that tops the session! 👏#ThaiGP 🇹🇭 pic.twitter.com/MvGkxA2RkU

Francesco Bagnaia ranked fourth less than a tenth from the benchmark and with barely more than 10 thousandths ahead of fabio quartararo. Brad Binder places the first KTM in the hierarchy in sixth position ahead of Alex Rins, Enea Bastianini, Marco Bezzecchi and Luca Marini, who completes the list of residents who will directly join Q2.
Marc Marquez missed his last fast lap and missed Q2 by just seven thousandths. He will have to go through Q1 just like Aleix Espargaro, who is struggling to find the keys to the Buriram circuit on the handlebars of his Aprilia, or Maverick Viñales, 18e.
