2nd victory of the season for Solans, winner in the Canaries

Sir 100%. Hired part-time in ERC with the Volkswagen Polo GTI R5 of Rally Team Spain, Nil Solans won his 2e victory of the year in as many participations thanks to its success during the Canary Islands Rally, 3e campaign meeting.
Leader after Luis Monzón's puncture and retirement during SS9 this Saturday, Nil Solans found the necessary resources to consolidate his 1e place. If he saw Yoann Bonato come back to 8 seconds, the Spaniard finished this Canary Islands Rally with a scratch (SS12) and a 3e position (ES13) to glean its 2e triumph of the season.

At the finish, Nil Solans was not ahead of Yoann Bonato but rather Efrén Llarena, the championship leader. With this new success, the Hispanic came back to 5 points behind his compatriot who finished just over 11 seconds behind him in the Canaries. The Frenchman signed a nice 3e place for his first ERC appearance of the year.
