Auriol aims for a sponsor and a podium

Didier Auriol, World Rally Champion in 1994, is still looking for funding to participate in the next Rally Monte-Carlo, of which this will be the hundredth edition. “ I am trying to find an agreement because I want to compete in this rally for its hundredth anniversary, confides the Frenchman. The problem is that I don't have a sponsor. But I'm trying to find one. »

Even if, at the moment, Didier Auriol is not sure of anything, he is aiming for big goals. The Frenchman hopes to ride in a good car in order to compete with the best. “ If I get a sponsor, I will try to get a good car and, if possible, then I will start to try to get on the podium. This is still my goal because I have remained competitive. »

The 100th Monte-Carlo Rally is likely to offer a very full line-up next January. The drivers regularly entered in the IRC should be there, in addition to Stéphane Sarrazin, attached to this event, Bryan Bouffier, Toni Gardemeister, François Delecour and Freddy Loix.
