Bouffier: “Above all, reach the finish”

This weekend, the protagonists of the IRC will fight for the first time this season on gravel, on the occasion of the Rally of the Azores. Winner of the Monte-Carlo before finishing second in the Prima Yalta Rally and the Ypres Rally, Bryan Bouffier currently occupies second place in the general classification. The Frenchman is delighted to return to the dirt, and will aim to stay in the title race.

“Above all, I am particularly happy to drive on dirt again, He says. I like this surface, even if I have less experience there than on tarmac. Likewise, I don't know the Sata Rallye Açores, while some of my rivals have a good knowledge of the terrain. This is no reason not to give it my all. I will try to take good notes, then I will enter the fight, without ever forgetting that I must first reach the finish line, in order to score big. points in the Manufacturers' Challenge as well as in the Drivers' classification. My participation was decided late. A month and a half ago I had the opportunity to take part in a test session on land, which will serve me well in the Azores. »

With three points behind leader Freddy Loix, Bryan Bouffier and his faithful co-driver Xavier Panseri can still hope to take the crown at the end of the season.
